Disneyland – a dream of every child

Disneyland – every child’s idea of a dream holiday. And for 40 underprivileged children from Dar Al Atta’a, this has become a dream come true. This exclusive week-long trip was organised as a part of the ‘Bring a Smile’ campaign that OHI has launched in association with Dar Al Atta’a to mark the 40th year of Renaissance of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said.

“We chose Disney because it is every child’s dream to go there, meet their favorite cartoon characters and live out their fantasies. Some can afford to go to Disneyland, while others cannot. In order to provide this opportunity to the underprivileged children, who otherwise cannot afford such a trip, we decided to make this humble contribution. We believe that these children also deserve the best in life, It was our intention to give them an experience that they will really cherish all their lives and what better time to do this than in the present landmark year.”

The trip was organised as a part of the ‘Bring a Smile’ campaign that OHI has launched in association with Dar Al Atta’a. The director of the Educational Media from the Ministry of Education, Yousef Al Mullahi and representatives from OHI and Dar al Atta were present at both times to see-off and welcome the kids back to Oman. The trip was organised by Eihab Travels, an OHI Group company that provides integrated tourism and travel services in the Sultanate.

OHI has always tried to seize the opportunity to give back to this society that has given us so much. Time and again, we have contributed to the cause of education, environment and the less fortunate and partnered with the right kind of organizations like Dar Al Atta’a. But this year,in the spirit of celebration, we decided to do something different and fun and that’s how this campaign came to life.' The ‘Bring a Smile' Campaign, is aimed to bring smiles on the faces of kids as a Smile means a lot to us.

This campaign’ includes several initiatives that will help bring a smile and light up the lives of underprivileged children.
