A graduate of Tottenham College, after completing his education in the UK, he started his career with Oman Air Force as a trainee pilot. He has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the United States International University, San Diego, California. After graduation he joined OHI as a Director in 1984-85. He established Al Zawrak LLC in 1986, a real-estate company. He has also worked at the American embassy as Assistant to the Commercial Attaché. In 2000 he re-joined Al Zawrak LLC as the company’s CEO. He became a Director on OHI Board during May 2019. Besides being a Director on the Board of OHI SAOC, he has been on the board of Oman Golf Association.
Sridhar Ganesan holds a Masters degree in Financial Management; Master's degree in Political Science and a Post Graduate of Diploma in Systems Management, University of Bombay. He is a certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers and is an alumnus of the Advanced Management Program, Harvard Business School, USA, 2009. He has professional work experience of over 40 years in the financial services industry in India and Oman. He was a key member of the Leadership Team at Bank Muscat for several years and retired from the Bank as the General Manager Corporate and International Banking in 2015. He has served on the Board of several companies in Oman.
Maqbool Hameed Al Saleh was the founder and Chairman of the OHI Group which he established in 1976. Before OHI, he had served in the Sultan’s Armed Forces, where he was appointed as an apprentice with a British Officer in FEME in 1959. After a decade in the Ministry of Palace Affairs (Diwan), he was subsequently transferred to the Ministry of Social Affairs & Labour, where he served until 1982. Having worked tirelessly to achieve his ambitions, Maqbool Hameed Al Saleh has earned his place as one of the most prominent corporate leaders in Oman and an icon for Oman’s transformation. He continues to be an inspiration to every generation to build an even better future for the next —a future based on hard work, perseverance and excellence.
Eihab has been the CEO of OHI Group since 2014 and had previously held the position of Group Chief Operating Officer, with specific oversight of the Technology Cluster of the Group. Earlier, Eihab worked for HSBC Bank Middle East Ltd in various capacities from 1998 to 2008 and was its Head of Corporate Banking in Oman from 2005 to 2008. An alumnus of Strathclyde University Glasgow, Scotland, Eihab holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, International Business & Marketing from The George Washington University, USA.
Ammar started his career in the banking sector of Oman and went on to hold several positions before joining the OHI Group. He drives the strategic, operational and independent management of a diverse group of subsidiary companies under the Group umbrella and delivers continuous excellence. He has been integral to the growth of the OHI Group and its diversification into many sectors, particularly media & entertainment, travel & tourism, logistics, marine and electronics. He has also been instrumental in the many achievements of the organisation and continues to inspire its success. Besides being on the Board of OHI SAOC, he has also been on the boards of Computer Stationery Industry SAOG (Oman Printers), National Hospitality Institute SAOG (NHI Oman), Douglas OHI, Oman Hotels & Tourism Company (OHTC), and Al Kamil Power Company. Ammar is a Business Management Graduate from Westminster University, UK.
Hassan served in the Sultan’s Armed Forces, until January 1991 before retiring with the rank of Major General. He has been on the Board of the OHI Group since 2004. He has been on the board of United Finance Co. SAOG, Global Financial Investments SAOG and Oman Educational Training Investments SAOG.
